Mayfair Gallery Tour - Saturday 23rd April, 3 - 5pm

Mayfair galleries are renowned for having some of the most beautiful spaces in London – spacious, light and architecturally innovative. The galleries that we’ll be visiting represent the world’s top contemporary artists and are the creme de la creme of the art scene. Exhibiting at the best fairs world wide, they use their London spaces to offer artists the opportunity to present a body of work in a coherent and retrospective manner.

We will be visiting the following galleries.

Massimo de Carlo, Thomas Grunfeld

– Timothy Taylor, Gabriel de la Mora

– Simon Lee, Keiji Uematsui

– Gazelli Art House, Kalliopi Lemos

We will be starting in a cafe and ending in a bar.

We will explore the more conceptual, process driven pieces of Thomas Grunfeld and Gabriel de la Mora, alongside the philosophical questions asked my Kalliopi Lemos in her sculptures. Simon Lee gallery presents work by Japanese conceptual artist Keiji Uematsu – combining photography and performance in a humorous and beautiful exhibition.

Diverse and thought-provoking – this tour will show you a different side of Mayfair’s townhouses, and provide you with a new perception of one of London’s focal gallery areas.
