Tom Lovelace Studio Visit - Wednesday 13th April, 6.30 - 8pm

Tom Lovelace creates environments and interventions that exist solely for the camera. Lovelace’s work challenges traditional notions of photography, presenting exquisite and progressive visual creations. His work intersects photography, sculpture and performance – continually surprising the viewer with his humour and innovative approach. Utilising everyday minimalist objects and materials, he reconsiders and reinvents, placing the camera in the primary audience position. The history of photography and its relationship with the disciplines of sculpture and performance underpin his research.

For this year, Contemporary Key have been partnering with photographer, Tom Lovelace, offering Members an exclusive print made especially for Contemporary Key. This is your opportunity to meet the artist and discover his studio: his processes, past bodies of works and current projects.

Tom Lovelace lives and works in London. He studied Photography at the Arts University Bournemouth and Art History at Goldsmiths College, London and he has exhibited widely across London and Europe. For more details please see his website.
